System Analyst (CBS)

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our product team — a platform for EMI / Banking solutions, including our own CBS (Core Banking System). The position is available remotely or from our office in Limassol.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements for product development: UI requirements, API enhancements, backend banking software improvements, development of core CBS functionality, integrations with external providers
• Prepare technical documentation and task descriptions for the development team
• Participate in analytical activities, architectural solution design, CBS configuration, and assist with investigating production client cases
• Collaborate with development, QA, product, and design teams

Requirements

Key competencies:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst
• Experience in projects related to implementation or development of CBS (Core Banking Systems) and/or back-office applications for the banking/financial sector, including payment processing, account management, etc.
• Experience with both client-facing and back-office banking systems, understanding of payment processing flows
• Knowledge of business process modeling methodologies and tools, with the ability to communicate ideas through diagrams
• Knowledge of UML and BPMN notations
• Ability to independently gather information for tasks/research and willingness to work with product-related regulatory/legal documentation
• Understanding of client-server architecture principles
• English level: Intermediate or higher

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write SQL queries
• Experience with microservices architecture
