Product Operations Manager (Credit Crads)
We’re looking for a Product Operations Manager (Credit Cards) to make sure our Cards product runs as a reliable, scalable production system — across processes, releases, vendors, and incidents.
This is a senior role for someone who combines product thinking with operational excellence. Your job is to reduce firefighting, increase shipping confidence, and make execution predictable in a product where money, contracts, and customer trust are always on the line.
Credit Cards / RCLs / CL is one of our key product areas, already serving 500k+ clients in the Philippines and continuing to grow fast. As the product scales, the amount of operational work grows with it — and today much of that work is either handled inconsistently or falls into a lower priority bucket.
We need a dedicated owner who will build sustainable product operations for the Credit Cards area: bring structure where ownership is fragmented, take some areas directly into ownership, and drive cross-functional work with Back Office, Support, vendors, Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
Business problem we solve
The product suffers from production incidents, operational gaps, and vendor/process friction, leading to firefighting, slower releases, and pain.
We lack a single owner for operational readiness on the product team side (not on the BO/CS side), so changes ship “technically ready” but not ready across other areas.
About the Team
You will work closely with Product Delivery, Ops / Support, Legal, Risk / Compliance, vendors, and Back Office stakeholders.
On the product side, the team currently includes 2 Product Managers and 2 Analysts. The setup is still evolving, the analytics function is also being strengthened, and engineering resources are available through shared prioritization.
This role requires a strong connection with the team and stakeholders, so fully remote work without travel is likely to be much less effective - so the ideal option would be relocation to Manila.
Another good option is a hybrid format with regular business trips — at least 3 visits per year for a couple of weeks.
This role requires a strong connection with the team and stakeholders, so fully remote work without travel is likely to be much less effective.
What you will own
End-to-end product operations for Credit Cards
Product incidents: from triage and root cause to permanent fixes and prevention
Operational sign-off for changes impacting rates, fees, agreements, installments, customer communications, and support processes
Cross-functional execution across Ops, Support, Risk, Legal, Tech, and vendors
Processes, escalation rules, and practical fixes for the biggest operational pain points
More predictable releases and a more sustainable operating model as the product scales
What we expect
Next 3 months
Implement a single incident flow: triage → severity → ownership → postmortems → prevention backlog
Introduce release readiness + ops sign-off for changes affecting rates / fees / contracts / installments / customer comms
Fix 2–3 biggest operational pain points (e.g. plastic card orders and cross-channel demand planning)
Next 6–9 months
Remove 70–80% of operational escalations from the Head of Cards and PMs
Make cross-functional releases predictable through phased rollouts, rollback plans, and post-release monitoring
It's a nice match if you have
5+ years of experience in product operations, platform operations, delivery, or project management
Proven experience owning incidents and production changes where money and customer trust are on the line
Strong experience in complex cross-functional environments, including work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Support, vendors, or Back Office
Ability to say “no”, block launches when needed, and drive cross-functional execution without excessive coordination overhead
Strong ownership, communication, prioritization, and decision-making
Maturity, good judgment, and the ability to drive issues to resolution while holding deadlines in a fast-moving environment
What would be a strong plus
Experience in fintech, cards, lending, credit products, or other regulated environments
Experience building or improving product operations in a scaling product
Experience with incident management, release readiness, and cross-functional launch processes
