Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will help us with the migration of our microservices system to a new domain. In this position, you will be working with a team that consists of: 6 developers, 2 analysts and 3 QA Engineers. This position combines project management with business analysis with a strong focus on prioritization.
Responsibilities:
Project & Delivery Management
Ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term strategy
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and define priorities
Help the team stay focused, remove blockers, and create an environment where they can do their best work
Lead both business-driven initiatives and migration projects from legacy to new platforms and technologies
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, maintaining a clear roadmap and vision for the project
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives
Work closely with other Backend and Frontend teams to coordinate dependencies and deliver end-to-end solutions
Team collaboration & Process Optimization
Support hiring, onboarding, and team capacity planning
Drive continuous process improvement across all development processes
Ensure transparency of team work, drive visibility of planning and delivery progres
Requirements:
Strong experience delivering complex software projects in a cross-functional environment
Excellent skills in prioritization, stakeholder management, and expectation setting
A mindset focused on outcomes, not output - you help the team achieve real impact, not just close tasks
Strong communication skills and a leadership style based on empathy, clarity, and collaboration
Fluent in English, Russian is a plus
Ability to foresee challenges, manage risks, and guide the team toward stable, predictable results
Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints, making decisions quickly and wisely
Interview steps:
Recruiter screen (~30 minutes)
Technical interview with 2 Project Managers (~60 minutes)
Final interview with Head of backend development & Head of growth (~60 minutes)
