At EMCD, we are building a sustainable ecosystem of solutions for miners, institutional clients, and infrastructure partners. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for launching and expanding EMCDs presence in the U.S. market through strategic partnerships with key pool operators and B2B players. This position is designed for a seasoned, results-driven professional with proven experience and influence in the U.S. crypto-mining industry.

We are looking for a practitioner, not a visionary someone who knows how to close deals, bring in hashrate, and truly understands the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire, and develop partnerships with leading U.S. pool platforms and infrastructure providers.

  • Drive EMCDs go-to-market strategy in the United States: lead negotiations, establish partnerships, and deliver the first meaningful results.

  • Execute strategic B2B sales: onboard partners and clients, generate growth through your existing network.

  • Structure and defend deal terms (economics, technical integrations, SLA) in alignment with the EMCD team.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Legal, Commercial) to manage deals end-to-end.

  • Gather market and competitive insights to inform and refine EMCDs U.S. market strategy.

Requirements

  • Mandatory experience working at one of the leading U.S. mining pools, such as: Foundry, Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA), Luxor.

  • Proven track record of onboarding large clients and delivering meaningful hashrate growth (1 EH/s+).

  • Deep understanding of mining-pool business models, unit economics, and customer expectations.

  • Strong experience in dealmaking and negotiations at the C-level.

  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and move fast.

  • Established professional network in the U.S. market (miners, integrators, traders, OTC desks, hosting providers, etc.).

  • Native or fluent English (American or British).
