Payment Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payment Operations Specialst to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Partner Communications:

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with payment partners.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all payment-related inquiries and issues.

  • Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings and communications with partners to ensure alignment and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Streamline Payment Processes:

  • Oversee daily payment operations, including processing payments, reconciliations, and managing payment gateways.

  • Develop and implement efficient payment processing workflows to reduce errors and increase transaction speed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure payment processes are integrated and optimized within the overall business operations.

Improve Metrics:

  • Monitor and analyze payment metrics to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on payment performance, including transaction volumes, error rates, and processing times.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of payment operations and drive continuous improvement.

Optimize Processes:

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to streamline payment operations.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades that support efficient payment processing.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a seamless and positive payment experience for customers by promptly addressing payment-related issues and inquiries.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve the customer payment journey to enhance overall user experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in payment operations within the e-commerce sector with merchants with global reach.

  • Strong understanding of global payment processing, alternative payment methods, risk management, and compliance.

  • Prior experience being involved with a development team, with a focus on payments or fintech applications.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Familiarity with global payment trends, emerging technologies, and alternative payment methods.
