IT Operations Engineer (Service Desk)
We're looking for an IT Operations Engineer who is proactive, automation-focused, and ready to help us evolve from a traditional Service Desk into a high-performance IT Operations engine.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the stability, security, and automation of our corporate technology infrastructure ensuring that technology becomes a true accelerator for business growth. What You Will Be Doing
Managing Identity, Access, and Core Systems: You'll own the administration of our Identity Provider (JumpCloud), oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) and access governance, and manage the full employee IT lifecycle—from automated onboarding to secure offboarding using tools like JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Torii.
Administering Business-Critical Platforms: You'll handle backend management of essential internal tools such as the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Slack, and Notion. You'll also optimize Jira Cloud as our IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, configuring workflows, request types, and automations to streamline internal processes.
Overseeing Endpoint Management and Security: You'll implement and maintain device policies across Windows and macOS endpoints using JumpCloud, handle software deployment, and support security initiatives—enforcing least privilege access and contributing to compliance efforts like DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC2.
Driving IT Operations and Infrastructure Excellence: You'll act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, manage IT asset logistics and procurement, and proactively identify trends to eliminate recurring incidents through automation and cross-team collaboration.
Who You Are
Experienced in IT Operations: You bring at least 5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with deep expertise in both Windows and macOS environments.
An IAM and MDM Pro: You have strong hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management using JumpCloud (or a similar IdP) for SSO, SCIM, and policy enforcement, and you're skilled in managing endpoints via MDM solutions like JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf.
Skilled with Core Business Platforms: You're comfortable administering Google Workspace or M365, and have experience working with ITSM tools—ideally Jira Service Management.
Fluent in English: You communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbal, in all professional interactions.
Automation-Minded (Preferred): You have scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) to automate administrative tasks, and familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001, DORA, or SOC2. Experience with SaaS governance tools like Torii or working in high-growth, modern infrastructure environments is a plus.
