Head of PSP (Payment Service Providers)

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established, globally regulated Australian broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks, and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time Head of PSP in our Cyprus office – a certified Great Place to Work®.

You will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our global portfolio of Payment Service Providers to ensure seamless, secure, and cost-effective payment experiences for our clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Responsibilities:

PSP Management & Optimization:

• Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with new and existing PSPs, including cards, e-wallets, crypto processors, and wire transfer providers

• Negotiate commercial agreements, SLAs, and integration timelines with payment partners

• Monitor PSP performance, including transaction success rates, costs, and uptime, and implement improvements where necessary

• Collaborate with internal Tech teams to integrate PSPs into platforms such as CRM, cashier, and back office systems

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee payment operations and handle escalations, including chargebacks and fraud cases, in collaboration with Risk and Support teams

• Optimize payment routing and logic to improve approval rates, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience

• Maintain and report on KPIs related to PSP performance, transaction volumes, cost per transaction, and more

Strategic Contributions:

• Analyze industry trends and client behavior to identify and propose innovative payment solutions and geographic expansion opportunities

• Support financial planning and reporting processes related to PSP expenses and payment strategy

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in PSP management, ideally within the forex, payments, or fintech industries

• Deep understanding of online payment methods, including acquiring, e-wallets, wire transfers, and crypto

• Familiarity with international PSPs and multi-currency ecosystems

• Knowledge of payment platforms like Praxis and other cashier solutions

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Technical understanding of payment APIs, CRM, and back-office systems is a plus

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
