Head of Product (Cards)

We’re looking for an exceptional customer-focused and commercial senior product leader for our newly created Head of Product - Cards role to shape and own one of our most successful and growing product verticals at Finom. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will drive the vision, strategy, execution, and commercial results for our entire cards ecosystem, including rewards and spend management.   

This is a high-visibility role requiring significant experience and the ability to work effectively across different C-levels. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe manage their spending and financial operations.

What You’ll Do

• Define and lead the product vision and strategy for Finom’s Cards ecosystem, ensuring it aligns with the broader company objectives and meets the evolving needs of our customers.

• Create and own the product roadmap for all card-related products, prioritizing features and innovations that drive customer value and commercial success. 

• Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver best-in-class card and spend management solutions.

• Own the entire cards ecosystem, from issuance and processing to user experience and ancillary services like spend management, ensuring a seamless and integrated offering.

• Drive the execution of the product strategy, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes that position Finom as a leader in the B2B card space.

• Collaborate closely with other C-level executives, including the CEO, CRO, CMO, CTO, and CCO, to ensure strategic alignment and drive business-wide initiatives.

• Set, monitor, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) for the Cards division, tying them directly to business growth and customer satisfaction.

• Stay at the forefront of market trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape in the B2B and B2C fintech and card payments industries.

Who You Are

• You are a strategic leader with significant experience in building and scaling card products in either a B2B or B2C setting at a leading fintech from around the world.

• You possess a proven track record of product leadership, demonstrating your ability to develop and execute a successful product strategy that drives commercial growth.

• You have a deep understanding of the cards ecosystem, including the technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of card products.

• You are an experienced people manager with the ability to hire, coach, and develop a high-performing product team.

• You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.

• You are adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can bring structure and momentum to complex, high-impact initiatives.

• You combine your deep product expertise with strong business acumen, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions that benefit both the customer and the company.

• You are passionate about solving the challenges faced by SMEs and are driven to create innovative solutions that improve their financial lives.
