Head of Learning & Development (L&D)

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Learning & Development (L&D) to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about building scalable learning systems, thrives in high-growth environments, and knows how to empower large customer-facing teams through data-driven development. Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement scalable L&D programs for large customer-facing teams (2,000+ people), including sales agents, support, and field staff
  2. Develop and manage modular training formats with automated triggers, learning paths, and performance dashboards
  3. Lead quality control processes and build assessment tools to monitor and improve skills across all levels
  4. Launch and maintain LMS systems and ensure seamless integration into day-to-day operations
  5. Manage and mentor a team of trainers and L&D professionals
  6. Create scorecards and competency models for both mass-market and managerial sales roles (e.g., KAMs, regional leads)
  7. Support creation and iteration of sales scripts and communication standards
  8. Lead onboarding and regular assessment cycles to ensure continuous development and performance alignment
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align L&D strategy with business goals


What we expect from the candidate

  1. 3+ years of experience in a senior L&D leadership role
  2. Hands-on experience building L&D systems for high-volume teams in fast-paced environments (retail, banking, logistics, BigTech)
  3. Deep understanding of learning design for sales and customer-facing teams
  4. Strong data orientation — experience building systems with clear metrics, triggers, and measurable outcomes
  5. Experience in building and overseeing quality control processes
  6. Confident user of LMS systems and related technologies
  7. Experience developing competency models, training content, and assessments for a wide range of roles
  8. Strong English (B2+); experience working in English-speaking environments is a plus
  9. Willingness to relocate to Manila, Philippines, or spend extended time on site during the first months, followed by periodic business trips
