DevOps Engineer (AWS/Terraform)

We have been fully remote since day one, building international products in Web & Cloud Applications, SaaS, CRM/ERP, and E-commerce domains. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise and strong engineering fundamentals. This role is focused on designing, scaling, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code, reliability, and real-world architectural decision-making.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
Strong understanding of System Design, Distributed Systems, High-load architectures, and trade-offs in infrastructure decisions
Solid theoretical foundation in ACID / BASE and CAP / PACELC (especially in infrastructure & database context)
Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
Python for automation and scripting
English - B1+, Ukrainian/Russian - C1+/Native
Residence outside Russia, Belarus & Ukraine
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Responsibilities:
Design and manage AWS-based infrastructure
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Support and improve high-load distributed systems
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure
Collaborate closely with backend and product teams
Proactively improve infrastructure, tooling, and engineering processes

Compensation: $3500–6000/month ($22–37/hour)
