DevOps Engineer

We are the creators of Flipper Zero — a portable device for tech enthusiasts and engineers. It’s a gadget with an awesome community that brings together millions of people around the world.

We are currently developing a new product — the BUSY Barproductivity multitool. It’s a smart device that helps you stay focused and minimize distractions.

One of the areas we focus on is developer tools, auxiliary systems, and computing infrastructure. This includes the firmware compilation toolchain, containers, CI/CD, packaging systems, and everything that hosts them. That’s why we are looking for a DevOps Engineer experienced with cloud-native and k8s-native infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure across multiple cloud providers

• Design, develop, and manage infrastructure configuration using orchestration tools

• Handle deployments to k8s, configure workflows, and build CI/CD pipelines

• Maintain and enhance observability systems

• Ensure reliable operation of various clusters and systems

Requirements

• Linux expertise at the level of a system administrator, equivalent to RHCA or LFCA

• Solid knowledge of networking and protocols: DNS, HTTP, routing, VPN

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform

• Kubernetes administration-level expertise

• Understanding of k8s operators and CRDs, particularly for monitoring systems

• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare)

• Hands-on experience with configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet)

• Hands-on experience building and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab)

• Hands-on experience with IdP systems (Authentik, Keycloak)

• Python — for build automation, testing, and deployment tasks

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Istio

• Deep expertise in GCP and AWS

• Experience monitoring nodes using Zabbix

• Hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise-grade VPN solutions
