Chief Technology Officer
Our client is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and lead the company’s technology strategy across its dynamic portfolio of products, including Poker, Casino, and Sportsbook. This executive will collaborate closely with senior leadership, product teams, and engineering functions to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions that support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
Lead and develop a high-performing technical organization, including product and infrastructure teams.
Establish and enforce best practices in system security, data protection, and disaster recovery.
Identify and integrate emerging technologies to foster innovation and improve operational efficiency.
Manage and maintain relationships with technology vendors, partners, and third-party providers.
Align technology investments with business priorities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Set and monitor KPIs to evaluate the performance and impact of technology initiatives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and technical excellence.
Oversee software architecture, infrastructure scalability, and the deployment of long-term technology solutions.
Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within iGaming industry
Strong background in software architecture, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
Proven experience leading distributed and remote teams.
Experience in high-growth or startup environments, with a strong preference for candidates who have scaled both platforms and teams.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
An advanced degree such as an MBA is considered a plus.
Fluency in Russian and proficiency in English are required.

Soft Skills:
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Capable of setting clear goals, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Sound judgment and decision-making aligned with core responsibilities.
Hard Skills:
In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
Ability to translate domain knowledge into clean, scalable system architecture while effectively mentoring others.
Expertise in backend development, particularly with Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong cloud infrastructure experience (preferably Google Cloud Platform; AWS is also acceptable).
Proficiency in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, including performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Terraform/Pulumi, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub/Bitbucket.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and microservice orchestration.
Bonus: experience optimizing systems for high-load environments (e.g., millions of rounds per day).
Pragmatic approach to AI, particularly tools that enhance developer productivity, problem-solving, or operational automation.
Experience managing or coordinating cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and domain-specific units such as Casino, Poker, Sportsbook, and Operations.
