Senior Motion Designer
We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer in our team. In this role, you’ll be creating assets for ad campaigns, social media, YouTube, and web pages. You’ll be designing product-focused videos that combine motion graphics and UI animation, with a significant portion of your work involving animating Readymag’s interface and transforming product features into clear visual stories. You’ll collaborate with marketing and product designers, marketers, and editors to translate product value and attract a broader audience.
You’ll also take ownership of the motion design direction within the company, creating and developing our motion approach and guidelines within Readymag's brand identity and improving internal processes. Additionally, you’ll help other designers enhance the quality of their work with motion.
This is a fully remote collaboration under a service agreement. We work primarily within the GMT+1 time zone and expect a regular overlap of business hours on weekdays to allow for meetings and live collaboration.
Who we are:
Readymag is a design tool for creating websites, landing pages, portfolios, magazines, editorials, and presentations.
We’re a fully distributed team with a strong international user community and client-oriented service. We value a culture of questions and curiosity with a ‘measure what can be measured’ approach.
We collaborate with like-minded professionals who are ambitious and passionate about what they do. Many of our partners have a long history of working with Readymag, and we would be happy to initiate a long-term collaboration with you as well.
What you will do:
create motion assets for ad campaigns, social media (Instagram, TikTok), YouTube, and web pages;
prepare animated assets to be embedded on our website, making product pages feel more dynamic and alive;
develop and execute motion concepts: storyboards, animatics, and visual style;
animate both our graphics and our interface. We work primarily in Figma, so all initial assets will be there;
adapt motion graphics for different formats and platforms;
create and develop a motion approach/guidelines within Readymag's brand identity;
collaborate with designers, marketers, and editors, and work closely with our videographer when motion needs to be integrated with real footage (though you will not be responsible for video shooting or full video editing).
What you’ll bring:
5+ years of experience in motion graphics in creative agencies or product teams;
strong experience with UI animation and interface storytelling;
experience collaborating with marketing teams and producing high-volume performance assets;
ownership of the end-to-end motion production cycle from concept to final delivery;
expert proficiency with After Effects and Figma;
experience in 3D is not required, but additional design skills and the ability to experiment are welcome;
fluent English.
What you’ll get:
remote work with a flexible schedule;
28 weekdays of paid annual leave;
access to a corporate laptop;
compensation for coworking space fees;
language courses;
compensation for sports or other physical activities;
a learning budget to invest in courses, books, or conferences;
maternity / paternity leave support;
the freedom to think beyond established patterns;
the opportunity to own and shape the entire motion design discipline at Readymag.
