QA Automation Engineer (Backend)

• Location: Manila, Philippines

• Remote work is possible, preferred time zones GMT+4 to GMT+8

We have many challenges that our team has to solve quickly and efficiently. It gives a huge room for development.There are many processes to create or improve, so we are looking for someone with a systems and analytical mindset, who can offer and argue their ideas.

Your future tasks 🔧:

• Design, maintain and execute test cases and provide your analysis on the results

• Work with Developers and Devops team to improve our test automation tools and solutions

• Follow and suggest improvements to the quality assurance process

• Propose, create and enhance project’s test strategy considering test automation approach

• Supports execution of test plans primarily automated tests and occasionally manual tests.

• Responsible for creating/maintenance of the automation test suite on their area of assignment and reporting on its current status.

• Provides estimates to seniors QA automation engineers and highlights any difficulty in meeting these targets.

Successful completion of these tasks will require ✅:

• 3 year or more experience in the similar role

• Experience in API manual and automation testing (Java/Kotlin)

• Experience testing applications for Financial institutions (investment banks, brokers, exchanges)

• Ability to express complex bugs, situations, or problems in a concise and precise manner

• Strong communication and collaboration skill
