About TaxDome

At TaxDome, we’re building the #1 practice management platform for accounting firms in the US and globally. Founded in 2017, we’ve grown into a 400+ fully remote team across 40+ countries, serving tens of thousands of businesses worldwide with millions of end clients.

How we work

You’ll be part of a globally distributed team built on trust, ownership, and self-management.

We focus on outcomes over activity — prioritizing clear ownership, pragmatic decision-making, and accountability for results over rigid processes. Collaboration is central to how we operate: we communicate openly, involve the right people early, and continuously improve how we build products and teams together.

About this role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a Product cluster within TaxDome's platform — not just manage a backlog, but deeply understand the problem space, identify the highest-impact opportunities, and drive measurable results for tens of thousands of accounting firms. This is a role for someone who thinks like an owner. You won't receive a list of features to build. You'll be expected to independently discover what matters, make tough prioritization calls, and take full accountability for outcomes — not just delivery.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Formulate hypotheses, validate them through prototypes and defend your priorities with evidence

  • Propose and present quarterly product plans grounded in business impact, not feature requests

  • Partner with Engineering and Design as a co-owner, not a task assigner. Decompose complex problems into shippable increments

  • Manage dependencies across teams, proactively remove blockers, and negotiate scope/timeline trade-offs consciously

  • Take full accountability for the outcome — shipping is not the finish line, validated impact is

  • Define success metrics before development begins. Close the feedback loop by analyzing post-launch data and iterating

  • Work fluently with both qualitative signals (interviews, support tickets, session recordings) and quantitative data (funnels, cohorts, retention)

This role is NOT

  • A feature factory. We need someone who defines what to build and why — not someone who writes tickets and hands them off.

  • A project manager role. You own the "why" and "what." Timelines and ceremonies matter, but they're not the core of this job.

  • A requirements aggregator. We expect critical thinking and the ability to filter, prioritize, and push back — not just collect requests.

  • A solo role. Deep, daily partnership with Engineering, Design, Sales, and CS is essential. Working in isolation is an anti-pattern here.

What you bring

Must-have

  • 10+ years in Product Management, with meaningful B2B SaaS experience

  • Strong discovery practice: you're comfortable running customer interviews, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs, and making decisions under uncertainty

  • Structured thinking: you frame decisions with clear assumptions, risks, and trade-offs — not gut feeling

  • Data-informed mindset: you define metrics upfront, analyze results, and iterate. You use data to build conviction, not to delay decisions

  • Experience working as a true partner with Engineering — co-owning problems, not handing off specs

  • Solid UX sensibility and experience collaborating closely with Design

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take accountability for outcomes, not just outputs

  • Experience using AI tools to improve product discovery, research, or execution workflows

  • Understanding of how AI can be applied to solve customer problems

  • English B2–C1 (you'll communicate directly with customers)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with practice management, CRM, e-signature, or workflow automation products

  • Experience with products marketed internationally or in a foreign market

  • Technical fluency — you don't write code, but you understand architectural trade-offs and can engage meaningfully in technical discussions

  • Hands-on experience building or shipping AI-powered product features

What we offer

At TaxDome, we aim to create an environment where people can do their best work and grow alongside the company.

  • Competitive compensation, paid in USD

  • Fully remote work with flexible hours

  • 30 paid days off annually, plus sick days as needed

  • Health & well-being support

  • Learning & development budget to support your professional growth

  • English lessons reimbursement

  • Co-working space reimbursement

  • Company-provided equipment (conditions may vary depending on the role)

  • A high level of autonomy and ownership in your work

  • The opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing global SaaS company

  • A collaborative, international team with a strong product mindset

If you’re excited about this opportunity and believe you could make an impact at TaxDome, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note, due to the high volume of applications, we are only able to contact shortlisted candidates. We appreciate your interest in the role!
