Java Developer

We’re looking for a strong Senior Java Developer to join the RingCX Analytics Team.

📍 Location: Valencia, Spain

At RingCX, we build next-gen contact center solutions powered by AI. On the engineering side, we run a microservices architecture on AWS, currently consisting of 12 services. Our focus is on scalability, reliability, and high availability to ensure smooth, real-time communication.

Technology stack:

1. Development: Java, Spring, GRPC, Flink, Kafka, Kafka Connect, ClickHouse, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, Airflow, Athena).
2. Deployment stack: Docker, Kubernetes.
3. Common: GitLab, Jira, Jenkins

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and support Backend microservices of a highly loaded data operation system
2. Proactively find gaps and Improve reliability, scalability, and security
3. Handle Production support in case of incidents - drive it till resolution, provide root causes and implement follow up action items to avoid recurrencies
4. Support BI developers in the creation of customer reports
5. Improve team efficiency by implementing best engineering practices

Qualifications & Skills:

1. 5+ years of Java, Spring programming experience
2. Experience working with microservices architecture
3. Experience with development of high-load systems
4. Ability to both write components from scratch and deal with legacy code
5. Understanding and experience with architectural patterns in high-load and distributed systems
6. Good knowledge of SQL
7. Experience with event based architecture
8. Experience with Kubernetes and AWS services
9. English B2+
10. Energy needed to quickly learn and understand new technologies
11. Experience with iterative methodologies and ability to work in an Agile environment

Will be an advantage:

1. Hands-on experience with Kafka, MySQL, ClickHouse
2. Basic knowledge of Kotlin
3. Knowledge of ETL
