Head of Product
The Head of Product is responsible for the performance, alignment, and strategic coherence of the CoinsPaid payment block. This role ensures every payment-related domain has a clear vision, measurable outcomes, and a defined contribution to company goals.
As a Head of Product you own the product operating system — planning, prioritisation, discovery, and delivery standards.
This role requires a mix of payments domain expertise, operational discipline, and hands-on leadership.
Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Operations
Lead portfolio planning considering dependencies, resources, and company OKRs.
Ensure each stream in the portfolio has a clear Vision aligned with CoinsPaid’s strategic goals.
Manage dependencies across domains
2. Product Operations
Build and maintain a unified Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) across all teams.
Define and enforce operational standards:
PRD / SRS
Epics, documentation, backlog structure, prioritization rules
DoR/DoD policies
Ensure transparency of priorities at both team and portfolio levels.
Align quarterly and sprint-level product plans with business departments.
Establish metrics collection and reporting frameworks that connect product and business outcomes.
3. Team Management & Cross-Functional Alignment
Build growth plans (PDPs) with product managers based on skills and domain needs
Run regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and help resolve challenges
Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven, ownership-based culture
Build a culture of accountability and shared success: “we did it” instead of “they did it.”
4. Product Collaboration
Design and lead processes that enable cross-department alignment between Product, PMO, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
Drive active problem-solving rather than escalation — unify stakeholders around results.
Communicate product performance and updates to stakeholders
Manage key third-party partnerships (tech providers, data, services)
5. Product Discovery
Lead continuous market and competitor discovery across all CoinsPaid domains.
Ensure structured collection and analysis of feedback from customer-facing teams (Sales, AM, CS, Support).
Track top-10 clients’ pain points, alternatives, and opportunities.
Translate market intelligence into actionable insights for Lead PMs.
6. Public Documentation Ownership
Own and govern the lifecycle of public product documentation — relevance, accuracy, update cadence.
Implement structured review and ownership assignment across product teams.
Requirements:
6–10 years in Product Management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple product teams or domains.
Proven experience in payments, acquiring, or fintech infrastructure (PayFac, PSP, or EMI/EMA).
Strong understanding of payment flows, merchant onboarding, settlements, and risk management.
Experience managing white-label or B2B platform products with multiple client integrations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication
Solid understanding of product analytics and unit economics
Experience with cross-functional teams and distributed teams
Technical background or understanding of API-based payment architectures.
English: B2-C1
Nice to have:
Prior leadership role in a regulated payments or EMI institution.
Familiarity with multi-country product scaling (EU, USA).
Experience with product analytics tools (Tableau, Metabase, Amplitude).
Exposure to merchant onboarding and compliance automation tools.
Technical background or understanding of API-based payment architectures.
