What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the Infrastructure Engineering team, taking full ownership of our cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Drive reliability, scalability, and security across our production environment while maintaining a sharp focus on developer velocity and business impact.

• Mentor and guide engineers across SRE, DevOps, and Database Reliability functions, fostering a culture of operational excellence and pragmatic problem-solving.

• Own the entire infrastructure lifecycle, from designing resilient, cloud-native architectures to managing capacity, cost optimization (FinOps), and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product leadership to enable fast, reliable software delivery in a high-growth environment.

• Establish and continuously improve structured incident detection, response, and post-incident review processes to strengthen system resilience.

• CI/CD architecture and release lifecycle management.

• Design and evolve our observability strategy, leveraging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack to ensure deep visibility into system health.

• Support high-priority initiatives such as scaling PostgreSQL databases, optimizing multi-cloud costs (FinOps), and enhancing our internal developer platform.

Who You Are

• 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure for production-scale systems, with 5+ years in IT leadership roles.

• A proven team leader with a pragmatic, hands-on approach — you’re comfortable diving into complex technical challenges while also setting strategic direction.

• Experienced as an SRE in large-scale, cloud-native environments, with a strong mindset rooted in observability, resilience, and failure-driven design.

• Proficient in at least one language (Python / Go / Bash), with deep expertise in Kubernetes design, operations, and optimization at scale.

• An expert in PostgreSQL production operations, including performance tuning, high availability, failover strategies, and backup management.

• A technical leader who designs and scales infrastructure processes — including budgeting, compliance, and incident management frameworks — with a customer- and product-oriented mindset.
