We are looking for a Head of Analytics to build and lead the analytics function for our rapidly growing business in the Colombian market. This is a key leadership role with strategic impact: you will shape how data is collected, governed, validated, and used across the entire company.

This role is not about maintaining existing dashboards. You will enter a greenfield environment and design the analytics and data governance framework from scratch – with full ownership, authority, and visibility at the top-management level.

If you are excited about building systems, challenging numbers, influencing executives, and taking responsibility far beyond a single domain – this role is for you.

Challenges that await you

  • Act as an unbiased counterpart to internal teams and third-party providers. Identify inconsistencies, red flags, and risks. There is no incentive to “beautify” numbers – your role is to surface reality.

  • Design and implement data development pipelines, mandatory standards, documentation practices, and quality controls.

  • Ensure that teams collect, transmit, and use data correctly. Drive compliance with standards.

  • Work directly with data: SQL queries, Python analyses, spreadsheets, dashboards, and visualizations. This is a leadership role with real execution, not delegation-only.

  • Partner with top management and department heads. Your insights will directly affect business decisions, launch strategies, and scaling plans.

  • You will manage your own team. Over time, you will help scale the analytics function as the business grows.

Everything you build will directly impact efficiency, decision quality, and long-term business sustainability.

What makes you a great fit

  • Strong mathematical background (priority: MIPT, HSE, MSU, or similar).

  • Deep understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory.

  • Excellent SQL and Python skills.

  • Experience building data processes, governance frameworks, and analytical standards.

  • Ability to work with complex, ambiguous datasets and uncover hidden issues.

  • Solid understanding of A/B testing theory (hands-on execution is a plus but not mandatory).

  • Proven people management experience

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills – ability to push decisions through. Confidence to speak up, challenge assumptions, and highlight problems to top management.

  • High level of ownership and personal involvement.

  • English level B2 or higher for effective collaboration with international teams.

Our ways of working

  • Innovative Spirit: a team from the best technical universities

  • Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication

  • Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community

  • Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together

  • High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who dare to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances

Our benefits

  • Flexible work from our offices in Mexico or Colombia, or remotely from other countries with similar time zones (GMT-5 / GMT-6)

  • Healthcare Coverage

  • Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications

  • Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements

  • Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
