Agnify lets customers connect any videos or live streams to any vision model through a single API. Customers describe what they need in plain English, our agent picks the right models, assembles a processing pipeline, benchmarks it against real footage, and deploys to production. Think of Agnify as auto-research infrastructure for video. We're an early-stage team making foundation models actually useful on video.

About the Role

You'll own the data layer, the systems that store, index, and serve petabytes of continuous video and AI metadata. You'll make the architectural calls: storage formats, indexing strategies, data access patterns. The tech stack is open, and there's no legacy to work around. 

What You'll Do 

• Design the storage and indexing architecture for petabytes of continuous video and multimodal AI data;

• Build structured and semantic search over AI-generated metadata;

• Query millions of hours of footage to determine what happened in it;

• Design video AI execution layer;

• Make data access fast: playback, multi-stream sync, retrieval at scale;

• Pick the storage formats, databases, and tools. Nothing is locked in yet.

What You'll Need

• You've designed large-scale storage or data systems before.

• You know your way around object storage (S3/GCS) and PostgreSQL;

• You're comfortable making architectural bets with incomplete information and owning the outcome.

Nice to Have 

• Experience with video or sensor data at scale (robotics, AV);

• Familiarity with formats like MCAP or Parquet, and video codecs;

• Systems programming chops (Rust, C++, or Go);

• You've worked with heavy ML workflows or optimized inference pipelines.
