Financial Relationship Management Specialist

Warsaw, Barcelona

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Financial Relationship Management Department, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with banks, payment institutions, EMIs, and other financial partners.

In this role, you will act as the key point of contact between the company and financial institutions, ensuring smooth onboarding, successful account openings, and ongoing compliance with partner requirements. The position requires strong knowledge of banking procedures, KYC/AML standards, and correspondent banking practices.

This is not an entry-level role we are seeking a specialist with proven experience in working with financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with banks, EMIs, PSPs, and correspondent institutions

• Lead corporate account opening processes in multiple jurisdictions

• Prepare and submit full KYC packages to financial institutions

• Communicate directly with compliance departments of partner banks

• Respond to Due Diligence and other requests

• Support periodic KYC reviews and ongoing monitoring procedures

• Coordinate internal document collection and ensure accuracy of submissions

• Escalate and resolve issues related to account onboarding or restrictions

• Maintain structured documentation and proper recordkeeping.

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of experience in: FinTech, Banking, EMI / PSP, Correspondent banking

• Proven experience in corporate account opening with banks or payment institutions

• Strong understanding of KYC/AML, Due Diligence, and regulatory frameworks

• Experience communicating with compliance teams of financial institutions

• Understanding of correspondent banking and safeguarding structures

• Ability to interpret legal and financial documentation

• Excellent written and verbal English and Russian  (professional correspondence required)

• Strong organizational and documentation management skills

• High level of responsibility, accuracy, and discretion

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with multiple jurisdictions

• Understanding of cross-border payment flows

• Previous experience in a Financial Institutions / Banking Relations department
