Engineering Manager
We are an international fintech company looking for a driven and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in building high-performing engineering teams, driving product and process improvements, and contributing to the development of innovative financial solutions.
Tasks:
Build strong teams to ensure high-performance and growth: hiring, coaching and mentoring, leading engineers.
Design, implementation, and improvement of software development and testing processes.
Research and development of new designs and products, propose budgets for projects, and oversee all activities related to the project.
Propose actions to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and software design.
Improve engineering practices: analyze the efficiency and quality of tech, tools, solutions, and production/operation methods, and lead initiatives to improve them.
Participation in brainstorming, analytics, and testing during the development of new products.
Requirements
Action and self-starter mindset, proactive problem solver.
7+ years of hands-on experience in engineering (mobile, web, or desktop), with 3+ years in senior management roles.
Proven experience managing teams of engineers (10–15 people): creating a culture of independent and self-organized teams.
Experience in change management and building/improving efficient development and cross-team collaboration.
Strong technical expertise and previous hands-on experience as a software engineer or full-stack analyst, preferably with brokerage/bank/fintech products (Python, Vue.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Redis).
Fluent working English (both written and spoken).
Nice to haves:
Experience working with brokerage/bank/fintech products.
Tech stack: Python, Vue.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Redis
Understanding of back-end/front-end oriented languages.
Understanding of brokerage solution architecture.
