System Analyst

*instinctools is looking for a Senior System Analyst for one of our clients. 

Client: is a global mobility platform with a peer-to-peer pricing model, where passengers and drivers negotiate and agree on fares directly. Founded in 2013, operates in 600+ cities across 45+ countries and offers services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, and delivery. The company focuses on fair pricing, transparency, and social impact.

Project: is Ride-hailing (Uber-like), courier delivery services, service platforms. Two-sided marketplaces (clients–service providers)

The Senior System Analyst plays a key role in designing, analyzing, and implementing finance automation initiatives. This role bridges the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring that finance processes are optimized and supported by effective system solutions.

The Senior System Analyst ensures that automation initiatives deliver measurable efficiency, accuracy, and compliance improvements across key finance processes.
Also support the PMO and Finance leaders by translating business needs into clear non-functional and functional, technical requirements, maintaining documentation.

Duration of cooperation: 6-12 months+

Tasks:

Business and Process Analysis
1.1 Collects, documents, and validates business requirements from stakeholders
1.2 Conducts fit-gap analysis for system or process changes
1.3 Maps current “as-is” and “to-be” business processes and identifies automation or standartization opportunities
1.4 Ensures all requirements align with business strategy and compliance standards

Solution design and Implementation Support
2.1 Translates business requirements into detailed functional specifications
2.2 Cooperates with cross-functional teams to ensure correct implementation and testing
2.3 Supports UAT (user acceptance testing) planning, execution, and defect resolution
2.4 Validates implemented solutions against initial requirements

Data and Reporting
3.1 Works with data and BI teams to ensure accurate data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting design
3.2 Supports data validation and integration activities between ERP and extenal systems

Documentation and Stakeholder Communication
4.1 Maintains clear and structured documentation of all requirements, changes, and decisions
4.2 Communicates regularly with key stakeholders on progress, risks and issues

Quality and Continuous Improvement
5.1 Benchmarks best practices in finance process automation
5.2 Supports post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions

Our expectations of the ideal candidate: 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL). Power BI, Tableau are a plus

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (for example, NetSuite) is a plus

  • Skilled in process modeling (BPMN, UML, flowcharts).

  • Familiarity with automation technologies (RPA, Power Automate, UiPath) is a plus

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and UAT (user acceptance testing) coordination.

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools.

  • Knowledge of finance processes is a plus
