Senior Python Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Python Data Engineer to join an international team working on data integration, automation, and platform modernization initiatives. The role combines data engineering responsibilities with support and enhancement of existing automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and improve existing regression and performance testing solutions built with Python and Selenium.

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for importing and processing data from multiple data sources.

• Implement and maintain data integration processes.

• Participate in the migration and replacement of the current SSIS-based data import solution.

• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure reliable and scalable data flows.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing automation and data processing systems.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Python.

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

• Hands-on experience with data integration projects.

• Experience working with Selenium.

• Understanding of software testing principles and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience with SSIS or migration from legacy ETL solutions is highly desirable.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• English proficiency sufficient for daily communication in an international environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing.

• Knowledge of modern data orchestration and workflow tools.

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.

• Background in data migration or modernization projects.
