Senior Product Designer (Banking)
We are looking for Senior Product Designer (Banking) for Design systems Team.
What You'll Be Doing:
End-to-End Product Design Own the full design cycle for assigned product areas — discovery, wire framing, prototyping, visual design, handoff, and post-launch refinement. Deliver production-ready designs in Figma. Use AI tools to accelerate exploration, generate layout variations and rapidly iterate on concepts.
Payment UX Design complex transactional flows — checkout, payment page customization, DCC selection, refund management — turning compliance-heavy requirements (PCI DSS) into intuitive, frictionless experiences.
Full State Coverage Design every state for every screen — empty, loading, error, success, edge cases, slow connection, retry flows. Use AI to generate state variations and systematically verify completeness, rather than shipping happy-path-only designs.
Dashboard & Data Interfaces Create clear, actionable merchant-facing dashboards — transaction monitoring, order management, analytics views — making complex financial data easy to understand and act upon.
Design System Contribution Actively contribute to the UI design system — propose new components, refine existing patterns, maintain consistency and theming support across products. Use AI for token generation, component variations, and consistency auditing.
AI-Assisted Prototyping & Design-to-Code Build interactive prototypes rapidly using AI tools (v0.dev, Figma AI, screenshot-to-code). Generate production-ready markup (HTML/CSS) from mockups, verify output quality, and collaborate with developers on the result.
UX Research & Validation Conduct competitive analysis, usability testing, and data-informed iterations. Use AI to synthesize research findings and user feedback. Advocate for user needs within the product team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work daily with Solution Architects, Frontend Developers, System Analysts, and QA to ensure designs are feasible, well-documented, and accurately implemented.
Multi-Locale Design Design interfaces that scale across 50+ locales, handle RTL layouts, multi-currency displays, and diverse payment method patterns across regions.
Qualifications You Bring:
5+ years of experience in Product / UI / UX Design
2+ years of experience in Fintech / Banking domains (mandatory)
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex B2B/B2C interfaces — dashboards, multi-step transactional flows, data-heavy UIs, and form-intensive applications
Expert-level proficiency in Figma — components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, and design tokens
Solid understanding of design systems — working with and contributing to a shared component library, maintaining consistency across multiple products
Strong interaction design skills — ability to design clear, logical flows for complex multi-state scenarios (payments, error handling, loading states, empty states)
Hands-on experience with AI design tools (v0.dev, Figma AI, Midjourney, Claude, or similar) — practical use for UI generation, not just awareness
Good grasp of visual design fundamentals — typography, color systems, spacing, hierarchy — applied to functional product interfaces
Understanding of frontend basics (Angular, component-based architecture, CSS, responsive design) for realistic, developer-friendly design decisions
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and agile workflows
AI-Native Skills
AI-Assisted UI Design — generating UI with AI: layouts, components, styles. Figma + AI plugins, v0.dev, screenshot-to-code
State Coverage with AI — generating all states via AI (empty, loading, error, success, edge cases) + critical verification of results
Design System Contribution — creating/updating components, tokens, design system documentation with AI
Prompt Engineering (UI) — precise prompting for UI tasks: styles, responsive, dark theme, RTL, micro-interactions
AI Prototyping — rapid prototyping: from text description to interactive prototype
Design-to-Code — generating production-ready code (HTML/CSS/Angular) from mockups with AI, verifying output
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech / payments domain — checkout optimization, payment form UX, merchant-facing tools
Knowledge of PCI DSS constraints and their impact on interface design
Experience designing white-label / customizable products — theming, branding flexibility, visual editors
Skills in motion design and micro-interactions for transactional feedback
Background in user research — usability testing, A/B experiments, analytics-driven design decisions
Experience designing for localization — multi-locale, multi-currency, RTL support
Experience generating production-ready code from designs and collaborating with developers on AI-generated output
