Senior Benefits Analyst
Location: Barcelona or Athens
We are currently looking for a Senior Benefits Analyst to support ongoing activities as well as lead various projects and continuous improvement as a part of our existing Total Rewards team. You will work closely with the rest of the People team and key stakeholders to identify and address the main challenges and act as an expert adviser for the region. The primary focus of this senior role will be to drive benefits benchmarking, lead benefits harmonization during mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and oversee strategic vendor and broker relationships.
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:
Benefits Harmonization & M&A: Lead the analysis, integration, and harmonization of benefits programs during mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring initiatives across Europe.
Market Benchmarking: Conduct thorough data analyses and frequent market benchmarking on the effectiveness, competitiveness, and fairness of existing benefits programs to make recommendations aligned with the overall reward strategy.
Vendor & Broker Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external brokers and insurance vendors, negotiating renewals, managing performance, and ensuring optimal service delivery.
Strategic Guidance: Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and regional Leadership teams to provide expert guidance and develop solutions for complex benefits-related issues.
Communication & Training: Improve internal benefits communications, update our knowledge base documentation, and train internal stakeholders on our reward system and benefits offering.
System & Process Improvement: Support further system improvement projects and ensure high compliance with regional regulatory requirements.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
Experience: Proven experience in compensation and benefits topics with Regional focus; experience in high-growth tech companies is highly preferred.
M&A Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting or leading benefits harmonization activities within M&A projects.
Vendor Management: Strong background in vendor, broker, and insurance contract management and negotiations.
Methodologies: Experience in major survey methods, job evaluation methodologies, and benefits valuation models.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to interpret and visualize data with deep accuracy.
Project Management: Proven program and project management experience with a structured, detail-oriented, and holistic approach to problem-solving.
Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt complex benefits messages to different regional audiences.
Tools & Language: Workday knowledge is a plus. Fluency in English is a must.
Education: University degree in a relevant field (HR, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent).
