React Developer (Storm)

The Short-Term Desk Technology team acts as the core technology partner for the short-term trading business, FX operations, and collateral management. We build and maintain the systems that support trade execution, pricing, cash flow accuracy, and collateral workflows. Our mission is to provide resilient, well-designed platforms; reduce operational risk; and deliver enhancements that increase efficiency and transparency across the desk’s ecosystem.

What you will do

We are not looking for someone just to work on well defined tasks. 

• You will be clarifying and challenging provided requirements coming from PO/BA and users

• You will work on enhancing and supporting existing features in React, as well as implementing new ones from scratch. 

• You will need to dive into existing WPF  code to understand how it works right now and help migrate its functionality to React. You will participate in designing new features, negotiate interfaces between client and backend and work with other team members to provide optimal UX

Required

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar

• 5+ years of React programming 

• JavaScript, TypeScript, NPM, Browser Web API, REST

• Experience with ag-grid

• Good knowledge of CSS

• Ability to create UIs from low fidelity wireframes

Nice to have

• Financial services experience is a plus

• Ability to come up with your own UI designs based on requirements is a plus

• Experience with Angular is a plus
