QA Engineer

EuropeSpainRemote

We’re looking for passionate professionals to join our team, make a real impact, and contribute to something truly meaningful. Let’s build the future of education together! 🚀

As a QA Engineer, you’ll ensure our product is reliable and meet the highest quality standards by working hands-on across testing activities, with a high level of autonomy, technical depth and ownership. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to test new features, resolve issues, and improve our processes. As part of our Product Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our product.

If you want to be part of a team that's redefining the future of education, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do

  • Maintain and evolve existing automated test frameworks, contributing improvements and new capabilities with a high level of autonomy.

  • Collaborate in technical investigations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to evaluate improvements to our testing frameworks, tools and approaches.

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate that features meet requirements.

  • Conduct manual testing when needed, especially for critical features and high-impact areas.

  • Design, implement and maintain automated tests to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure they are comprehensive and testable.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify risks and plan testing strategies.

  • Analyze test results, report bugs, and help resolve issues quickly.

  • Document testing strategies, technical and test procedures, test cases, and test results.

  • Identify opportunities for improvements and propose solutions for QA processes, tools and workflows.

  • Advocate for quality and actively contribute to technical and process discussions, raising risks and proposing improvements when needed.

  • Collaborate with team members on testing processes and methodologies.

  • Support other QA engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.

  • Stay up to date with new tools, frameworks, and industry trends, to enhance QA processes and product quality.

What you’ll bring

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on test automation.

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for complex products.

  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools, preferably WebdriverIO, and solid knowledge of JavaScript.

  • Exposure to automated testing of games or Unity-based applications is a plus.

  • Versatility to switch between programming languages. While our core stack is JS-based, willingness and ability to prototype in other languages (like C#, Python, Java, etc) to solve specific challenges is essential.

  • Experience working with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) and defining high-quality, maintainable test scenarios.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test strategies, and best practices in agile environments.

  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestLodge, TestRail, or similar).

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze failures and identify root causes.

  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and effectively influence technical and process discussions related to quality.

  • You should be comfortable with long-form writing. As a fully remote company, articulate and efficient asynchronous communication is vital.

  • A mindset of continuous improvement and a passion for building high-quality products for children and families.

English is a must: We’re a multicultural team providing a service in English, so while certifications aren’t necessary, fluency is essential. As a fully remote company, clear and effective spoken and written communication—especially in asynchronous, long-form formats—is key to collaborating successfully.
