QA Automation (Customer Service)

The Customer Service team develops an internal CRM system on the Creatio platform that supports key customer service processes.

The team is in an active growth phase and works with a large backlog, continuously delivering new features and improving existing processes. The main focus is on operational efficiency, service quality, and speed of delivery.

The team collaborates closely across developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders, enabling fast delivery and a direct impact on the internal user experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of web UI and microservices APIs (feature validation + regression).

  • Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists).

  • Test APIs using Postman, curl, OpenAPI/Swagger.

  • Log, track, and verify defects in Jira.

  • Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and requirements discussions with developers and business analysts.

  • Validate integrations and business logic across services.

  • Contribute to test automation by writing and maintaining automated tests following existing frameworks and guidelines.

  • Collaborate with experienced automation engineers to increase automation coverage.

  • Analyze test failures and help maintain stable automated test runs.

Requirements and expectations

  • 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs/microservices.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing types (smoke, regression, functional, integration).

  • Solid understanding of HTTP/REST and JSON (XML is a plus).

  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools: Postman, curl, OpenAPI/Swagger.

  • Basic understanding of microservices architecture.

  • Good SQL skills (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, etc.).

  • Experience working with defects and team processes (Jira, requirements discussions).

  • Basic programming knowledge in one of the following languages: Java / Kotlin / Python / C# / JavaScript.

  • Understanding of OOP fundamentals.

  • Basic knowledge of test automation principles (Page Object or similar patterns, waits, test data management).

  • Entry-level experience writing UI and/or API automated tests (commercial, educational, or pet projects).
