Product Manager – Mobile Platform

EuropeRemoteSenior

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Manager to support daily product operations within one of Ruby Labs' fastest-growing AI-focused portfolio companies. This role is focused primarily on supporting the mobile team, with a strong emphasis on the Android app experience, UI/UX reviews, QA, and feature scoping.

Your mission: help keep the product running smoothly through strong execution, attention to detail, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will support different stages of the mobile product lifecycle — from feature planning and testing to release monitoring and UX improvements — while helping ensure a high-quality user experience across the app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Mobile Product Support — Assist with day-to-day operations of the mobile product lifecycle, with a primary focus on Android applications.

  • Product Backlog Management — Help maintain and organize a refined, prioritized backlog of features, bugs, and improvements.

  • Feature Discovery & Delivery — Support feature ideation, research, competitor benchmarking, and timely feature delivery.

  • UI/UX Review & Quality Control — Review mobile interfaces for consistency, usability, and pixel-perfect execution across devices.

  • Mobile UX Research — Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and UX research on top-performing mobile apps.

  • App Build QA & Testing — Perform QA checks on app builds, identify issues, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth releases.

  • Post-Production Monitoring — Assist with monitoring releases and flagging issues after deployment.

  • Product Events & Monitoring — Help track crashes, ANRs, and performance anomalies, escalating issues when needed.

  • Push Notification Support — Assist with push notification testing, segmentation, and optimization efforts.

  • Mobile Performance Optimization — Support efforts to improve app performance, load times, memory usage, and overall user experience.

  • In-App User Flows — Help review and optimize onboarding, paywalls, subscription flows, and core user journeys.

  • Mixpanel & Product Analytics — Monitor metrics, funnels, and user behavior insights to support product decisions and backlog prioritization.

  • Platform-Specific Considerations — Support delivery of native-feeling experiences aligned with Android and iOS platform guidelines.

  • Version Release Coordination — Assist with app submissions, rollouts, phased releases, and release tracking.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Product, QA, Development, and Data teams on daily tasks and feedback loops.

  • Scoping & Documentation Support — Help scope features, document requirements, and support execution planning for the mobile team

Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial and real-world business experience is a must, even if it was unsuccessful.

  • 1 - 3 years of experience managing mobile apps and teams across iOS and Android platforms.

  • Experience leading Product Owners, QA, development, and data teams in a mobile-first environment.

  • Eagle-eye attention to detail — capable of spotting 1-pixel misalignments instantly across multiple devices.

  • Deep understanding of mobile design patterns, touch interfaces, and platform-specific UI/UX guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design).

  • Proven track record of competitive mobile app analysis and UI/UX improvement.

  • Deep knowledge of component-based mobile UI systems and UI refactoring.

  • Experience with mobile app analytics platforms and attribution tools (Firebase, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar).

  • Strong mastery of data analytics events and KPI-driven product control, especially mobile retention, DAU/MAU, and LTV metrics.

  • 2+ years of hands-on Mixpanel experience for advanced product analytics.

  • Understanding of mobile app architecture, API design, and native vs. cross-platform considerations.

  • Experience managing App Store and Google Play Store submissions, reviews, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT-5, Anthropic) for product operations.

  • Knowledge of mobile A/B testing frameworks and experimentation methodologies.

  • Sharp, energetic, ambitious, tough when needed to get the job done.

  • Relentless accountability mindset with a results-first culture.

  • English fluency.
