Middle QA Engineer (Web)
Who we're looking for
We are seeking a Middle QA Engineer to join the Revenue team and work on marketing-related tasks for the company website and blog. In this role, the main focus will be on maintaining high-quality releases through thorough testing, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and other stakeholders.
In this role, your main focus will be on manual and automated testing of high-quality releases. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders, ensuring stable delivery and building automated regression tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
This position will be especially interesting for those who want to go beyond manual testing, as it includes opportunities to contribute to innovative projects, such as automating landing page generation with AI and analyzing customer data to support the sales team.

Project stack:
WordPress, PHP 8, MariaDB, Docker, AWS infrastructure, implementing k8s; CloudFlare, gitlab
Autotest stack:
Playwright JS/TS
Our expectations
3+ years of experience in QA, preferably with hands-on experience in manual testing and automation skills
Proven hands-on experience writing automated tests with Playwright (JS/TS)
Knowledge of testing methodologies and practical application experience
Experience in test documentation and requirements analysis
Understanding and ability to apply non-functional testing principles (security and performance)
Data analysis skills and test set preparation
Ability to determine the scope of testing for new product areas and develop testing strategies
Knowledge of defect management principles and experience with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
English proficiency (B1 level)
Responsibilities
Design, update, and execute manual and automated test cases (Playwright JS/TS)
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Participate in defect triage and collaborate with developers to resolve issues promptly
Provide regular status updates and actively participate in team meetings
Maintain a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices throughout the testing process
Creating checklists for manual testing
Formulating bug reports
Improving testing processes
