Middle QA Engineer

About Playfood: We are developing a SaaS food delivery platform that powers the entire business cycle for our partners. You will be designing a multi-layered ecosystem:

• Customer-Facing Apps: B2C Web & Mobile applications.
• Restaurant Apps: B2B tools for order management and kitchen workflows (Web & Mobile).
• Partner/Admin Web Interface: The "brain" of the SaaS platform. A complex interface for business administration, analytics, and system configuration (Web).
• Courier App: We utilize a partner’s ready-made Courier solution from our partner.

Responsibilities:

• Manual functional and regression testing across multiple platforms
• Writing and maintaining automated tests in Python (Selenium); joining the migration to Playwright
• Creating test plans, test cases, and checklists
• Participating in grooming and planning within the Scrum process
• Filing and tracking bug reports through to resolution
• Answering technical questions from the sales team and customers
• Assisting with product setup and configuration for clients
• Writing user guides, manuals, and internal documentation
• Working with application logs and monitoring dashboards to investigate issues and track system behaviour
• Using AI tools in daily workflows: test generation, routine automation, vibe coding

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of QA experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing principles
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development teams and distributed remote environments
• Experience with API testing (REST APIs) using Postman or similar tools
• Basic experience in test automation using Python and Selenium
• Experience with Git and Jira (or similar bug tracking tools)
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting
• Ability to analyze logs and monitoring dashboards to investigate issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage testing across multiple products and priorities
• Experience using AI tools for productivity (e.g. Cursor, Claude, Codex)
• At least B1+ English level

Nice to have:

• Experience with Playwright
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
• Basic knowledge of Docker
