Manual QA Engineer
$1000-$1500
Remote, except Russia, Belarus!
Right now we are looking for a person who has experience in quality assurance and is also willing to contribute to the codebase. We believe that team flexibility is one of the keys to achieve business goals. That's why our focus is on what we should do instead of what we can.
Responsibilities:
The short answer is to help the team to achieve sprint goals.
We’re looking for a QA specialist to help us test features more efficiently and make our releases more stable. You’ll be writing and managing test cases and checklists, and working with the tech lead to add important unit and integration tests.
Right now, we value flexibility over perfection. So, if one candidate covers 80% of features with solid tests quickly, and another covers 100% but more slowly, we prefer the first. However, skipping less important tests should never affect the quality of the ones that matter.
What is in it for you?
This is a very unusual and interesting application of technology - you can call yourself a cowboy or cowgirl.
Salary of $1000-$1500 a month depending on experience
Fully remote position
Working hours: 12:00 - 20:00 Istanbul time
Skills and experience we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer
Experience with managing project’s tests
1+ year experience
Basic understanding of computer science.
Experience in API and Web app testing
Focus on goals, not roles.
