About the role

Now we’re looking for a Legal Assistant — someone who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to support our legal team in managing agreements, conducting research, and optimizing processes. If you have a background in law, an interest in fintech and blockchain, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

The main goal of this role is to provide legal and operational support by assisting with client (merchant) agreements, handling day-to-day tasks, and managing databases to ensure smooth processes and overall business efficiency. Experience with crypto licensing, compliance processes, and GDPR-related matters would be a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities

  1. Document Preparation & Management:

    • Draft, prepare, and proofread legal documents and agreements.

    • Organize the process of signing agreements with clients and partners.

    • Store agreements to ensure full-time access for designated stakeholders.

  2. Legal Research & Monitoring:

    • Conduct legal research to support the team’s work and ensure accuracy in documentation.

    • Track changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.

    • Keep the team informed about legislative updates.

  3. Communication & Support:

    • Respond to inquiries from colleagues, partners, and clients regarding agreements.

    • Support communication with the Sales team on legal matters.

  4. Operational Efficiency:

    • Maintain legal databases and contribute to improving document and workflow efficiency.

    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Success criteria for the first 3 months

  • 30 Days:
Learn internal processes, assist with daily legal tasks, and become familiar with merchant agreements and databases.

  • 60 Days:
Begin handling standard contract reviews and support communication with the Sales team.

  • 90 Days:
Work independently on merchant-related documentation, maintain legal databases, and contribute to improving document and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (Master’s degree preferred) or last year graduate.

  • Experience with crypto licensing, compliance processes, or GDPR-related matters is a strong advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Proficiency in legal research and document management.

  • Fluency in English; additional EU languages are a plus.

  • Based in the European Union.

What we offer

  • Fully remote work, supporting a diverse, globally distributed team.

  • Clear opportunities for career growth and professional development within the rapidly expanding fintech space.

  • Continuous learning environment with access to tools, resources, and guidance from industry experts.

  • Open and constructive feedback culture, including regular 1:1s and transparent performance reviews.

  • The chance to make an impact on how users interact with innovative financial technologies.
