Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to own and drive the quality assurance strategy across our web, mobile, and backend systems. You will lead the QA function, build scalable testing processes, and ensure high product reliability in a fast-growing tech environment.

This role requires relocation to Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategy and best practices

• Lead and mentor QA engineers (manual & automation)

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks (UI & API)

• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting

• Drive performance, regression, and stability testing

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps

• Own defect lifecycle and continuous quality improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years in QA, including 2+ years in a leadership role

• Strong experience in automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium or similar)

• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS & Android)

• Solid API testing knowledge

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• English level: B2+

• Willingness to relocate to Doha

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketplace / delivery / super app products

• Performance testing experience

• Cloud environment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Experience scaling QA in high-growth environments
