L2 Engineer (On-Call)
Employment: 24–32 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible (4-6 hours per day with shift options) + on-call duty
Any location except Russia
Responsibilities:
Receiving and processing incidents from L1 support or monitoring systems;
Diagnosing service issues;
Restoring system functionality;
Escalating complex issues to L3/engineering teams;
Diagnosing technical issues during on-call shifts;
Managing infrastructure;
Conducting post-incident analysis.
We expect you to have:
1+ year of Linux experience (Middle);
Command line skills;
System log analysis;
Networking fundamentals;
Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and network errors;
Experience with Docker/container services, web servers (Nginx/Apache), and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Redis);
Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana/ELK, Sentry, or similar);
English at B1+ level, Russian at B2+ level.
