Junior Accountant (Automationm Finance)

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join an international IT SaaS company. If you have a keen interest in automation and financial systems, this role is for you. You will be responsible for collecting and recording primary documentation for a US legal entity in our accounting software, as well as leading projects to optimize and automate processes within the finance department.

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Projects and Automation, participating in the analysis of financial processes, data preparation, and the implementation of new solutions.

This position is ideal for a specialist who wants to grow at the intersection of accounting, financial systems, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Development of Financial Processes

• Participate in projects aimed at optimizing and automating accounting and finance processes.

• Prepare and analyze data for automation; participate in testing and implementing new solutions.

• Contribute to the setup and development of financial systems and integrations (including Xero).

• Describe, analyze, and improve current processes, identifying areas for optimization.

• Analyze operational workload (interaction with managers, document management).

• Prepare instructions, documentation, and maintain the knowledge base.

Accounting

• Primary Documentation: Organize a system for the timely collection, systematization, and recording of documents in accounting programs (Xero).

• Record income and expense transactions in accounting software (1С, Xero, etc.).

• Record accounts receivable and payable transactions.

What we expect from you

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

• 1–2 years of experience as an accountant or finance specialist.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
