We are seeking an experienced HikCentral Professional Implementation & Configuration Specialist responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and support of an enterprise-level physical security platform based on HikCentral Professional.
The role involves close collaboration with Security, IT, Facilities, and external vendors, ensuring standardized, scalable, and compliant physical security systems across multiple office locations.
Key Responsibilities
HikCentral Professional Deployment & Configuration
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain HikCentral Professional (standalone and distributed architectures).
Design system architecture, including servers, storage, networking, redundancy, and scalability.
Configure and manage the following modules:
Video Surveillance (CCTV)
Access Control Systems (ACS)
Visitor Management
Alarm & Event Management
Video Analytics (face recognition, intrusion detection, license plate recognition, tailgating detection, etc.)
Integrate HikCentral with Hikvision hardware and supported third-party systems.
Integrations & Automation
Integrate HikCentral with:
Active Directory / Azure AD / LDAP
HR systems (onboarding/offboarding processes)
Badge issuance and visitor management systems
Configure role-based access control (RBAC), permissions, and segregation of duties.
Implement automated workflows, alerts, event correlation, and reporting.
Operations & Support
Provide Tier 2–3 technical support for HikCentral-related incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and system troubleshooting.
Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal downtime.
Optimize performance, stability, and fault tolerance.
Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and support teams to meet SLA requirements.
Documentation & Compliance
Produce and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, as-built documentation).
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, internal security policies, and regulatory requirements related to CCTV, access control, and biometric systems.
Training & Advisory
Train operators, security staff, and system administrators.
Prepare user guides and operational instructions.
Provide expert advice to Security and IT teams on system capabilities and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
2–3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring HikCentral Professional.
Strong understanding of:
IP CCTV and video surveillance systems
Access Control Systems (ACS)
Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, PoE)
Windows Server (advanced) and Linux (basic)
Experience with:
Hikvision cameras, NVRs, access controllers
Enterprise and multi-site deployments
English language proficiency at B2 level or higher (mandatory)
(technical documentation, vendor communication, professional environment)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the Greek language (A2–B1 or higher).
Experience in:
Corporate offices or business centers
Financial, fintech, or regulated environments
Multi-site and international infrastructures
Practical knowledge of GDPR in the context of CCTV and biometric data processing.
Hikvision certifications (HCSP / HCSE) are an advantage.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Attention to detail and high level of responsibility.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
