Game QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our Start team, who is passionate about game development, can effectively apply their expertise to strengthen the team, while also being eager to learn and follow the best practices established across the company.

The Start team focuses on shaping the player's experience during their first 30 days in the game. The team works on a wide range of features - from mini-games inspired by marketing creatives to hardcore mechanics for the 4X part of the game.

Job requirements

What will you do?

• Participate in the full testing cycle of client- and server-side improvements developed by the Start team, from functional verification to evaluation of non-functional characteristics, with a focus on testing mobile client applications.

• Participate in tests of console and interface tools.

• Create sets of test cases for testing new functionality.

• Take part in the discussion of new improvements at the design stage.

• Analysis of functional requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in end-to-end testing of mobile applications with client-server architecture.

• Knowledge of testing methods and techniques.

• Experience working in agile teams.

• Good test model-building skills.

• Experience with bug trackers.

• Proven experience in active collaboration with product/tech teams.

• Experience with testing management systems.

• Experience in analyzing and working with system logs.

• Understanding of how client-server applications work.

• Interest in gamedev.

• Willingness to work in the office in Limassol, Cyprus (company support with relocation)

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Web services testing experience.

• Experience in the development of gamedev products.
