Frontend Developer (React/JS)

At PayDepot, we develop several B2B & B2C fintech products, and are currently looking for a Frontend Developer, who will help us build the best web products on the market, and shape the development process, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed user expectations.

We have a nice office in Limassol, and if you are not in Cyprus yet, we will assist with relocation for you and your family.

What you’ll do

• Develop new features and enhance existing solutions with a focus on usability and performance

• Build reusable and scalable components based on Figma designs and design system standards

• Integrate with backend services using REST APIs and WebSockets

• Collaborate closely with backend developers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment

• Optimise and refactor solutions for performance, scalability, and developer experience

• Participate in architectural decisions and frontend design discussions

• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality

• Write, maintain, and improve unit, screenshots and E2E tests

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer

• Strong knowledge of React, Redux, and TypeScript

• Practical experience building or customising UI libraries using frameworks like Material UI, Shadcn UI, Mantine, Semantic UI React, Ant Design, etc

• Familiarity with modern testing tools and frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

You’re our perfect candidate if

• You have experience with form validation tools, ex. React Hook Forms + Yup

• You have experience with performance profiling and optimisation tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Web Vitals, React Developer tools / Redux DevTools)

• You have a genuine interest in the fintech or cryptocurrency space

• You’ve worked in a fast-paced startup or tech-driven company before

• You have proactive approach, not afraid to take initiative, and propose better solutions
