Frontend Developer (Merchant Response)

Our team is developing a payment gateway for accepting funds from users on behalf of merchants, as well as sending funds from merchants to users. The system involves storing user payment data and is subject to PCI DSS compliance. It contains multiple integrations with payment systems, providers, and other gateways and processors, including 3DS.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of the Admin Panel:

    • Implementation of reports, CRUD interfaces, and settings pages.

    • Development and maintenance of complex UI components (modals, tables, charts, etc.).

  • Development and maintenance of payment forms:

    • Support for card payments and alternative payment methods (APM).

    • Collection of additional data required for payment processing.

    • Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, multilingual support, and high performance.

  • Development and maintenance of landing pages.

  • Research and analysis to solve non-standard team challenges.

  • Collaboration with the product team to refine UX/UI solutions and implement business requirements.

  • Creation of lightweight, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces together with designers.

  • Analyzing and resolving production incidents and bugs.

  • Performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.

  • Participation in regular team meetings, task estimation, and sprint planning.

Important and Challenging Tasks:

  • Proposing and implementing UX/UI solutions for business requirements in close cooperation with the product team.

  • Optimizing interface performance and loading speed.

  • Delivering a high-quality user experience considering high-load environments and various user scenarios.

Requirements

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • At least 3-5+ years of commercial development experience with ReactJS, TypeScript.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience working with Svelte.

  • Skills in developing responsive and cross-browser interfaces.

  • Experience with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD).

  • Experience implementing complex user interfaces and UX solutions.

  • Experience working with popular UI libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind).

  • Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Codeium, etc.) to improve speed and quality of development.

  • Ability to critically review AI-generated code, ensuring production-ready quality and compliance with company standards.

  • Understanding of REST API principles and backend integration.

  • Proficiency with build tools and state management systems (Webpack, Redux/Context).

  • Experience working with Git and version control systems.

  • Ability to estimate tasks accurately and deliver within the estimate.

  • Ability to work effectively and solve tasks within an Agile team.

  • Collaboration and communication skills for working with designers on interfaces.

  • English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with payment gateways, processors, ERP, and CRM systems.

  • Understanding of SEO principles and web application performance optimization.

  • Experience with frontend testing and automation tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
