Backend Developer

Fully remote work, with an option for relocation to Dubai after probation.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of key backend components and ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize order book matching engines, trading engines, REST & WebSocket APIs.
2. Build high-performance backend systems to support both institutional and retail traders.
3. Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient backend architecture for high-frequency trading.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance the platform.
5. Continuously optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Requirements

1. 6+ years of backend development experience.
2. Blockchain experience is a must – previous work on Web3 projects, smart contract integration, or trading platforms.
3. Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, Docker.
4. Deep understanding of low-latency financial software and high-frequency trading environments.
5. Ability to work in a high-load, fast-paced development environment.
