What You’ll Do:

As our Accounting Officer, you will be the backbone of our daily financial health. You won't just move numbers; you’ll own the full bookkeeping cycle, from managing supplier relationships and monthly invoicing to mastering complex month-end reconciliations. By keeping our bank balances and VAT reporting flawlessly accurate, you’ll provide the insights our leadership needs to make big decisions. This is a hands-on role where you can truly own your workspace, streamline our processes, and grow alongside an international team that values your precision and expertise 

What We’re Looking For

  • Perform the daily bookkeeping for supplier invoices and bank transactions, as well as the issuance of monthly customer invoices.

  • Perform the monthly bookkeeping for more complex transactions, i.e., amortization, depreciation, right of use asset entries.

  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and prepare a weekly bank balances report.

  • Perform supplier reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payables data before processing any payments, as well as yearly supplier reconciliations following the year-end.

  • Prepare month-end accounting reports.

  • Prepare a bi-monthly client funds reconciliation report.

  • Assist with the provision of information to external auditors, banks, and other external business partners.

  • Preparation of supporting reports required for VAT return submissions.

  • Other ad hoc accounting-related requests that might come from time to time from the Finance & Accounting Manager or Financial Controller.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position in an international firm.

  • Fluency in English is a must.

  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation).

  • Ability to work within deadlines.

  • Previous experience with XERO will be considered an advantage.
