What you’ll do

• Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports to the relevant authorities.

• Ensure alerts are handled in accordance with defined procedures and meet standards for both quality and timeliness.

• Conduct investigative research using appropriate techniques and sources and provide consistent detailed rationales for decisioning alerts.

• Execute components of the AML function’s monitoring programme

• Stay informed on any changes to AML/CFT laws, regulations and best practices, ensuring that the Company remains fully compliant

• Report to the head of the AML department

What you need to have

• At least 4 years experience in a similar role within a regulated environment in the financial services industry, preferably in a CIF

• Hold a valid CySEC AML Certification will be considered a strong advantage

• Very good understanding of AML/CFT applicable regulations

• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in English and Greek (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset

• Proficient in the use of Google Workplace tools

• Must be a permanent resident in Cyprus or hold a valid work permit
