User Experience Designer

Mission Pet Health is building digital products for veterinary care — for pet owners and for the hospitals that serve them. Product Design sits in Digital Experience and works on client-facing products (including our client portal and online booking) and a shared design system used across those apps.

About the Role

We’re hiring a User Experience Designer to own the client experience across our client portal and online booking — treated as one journey, not two separate products. You’ll partner with product managers on client-facing features, take work from problem-framing through UI, and hand off to engineering inside our existing design system.

This is an IC product UX seat: end-to-end to handoff. It is not a visual/UI-only role, not research-only, and not a strategy-only product design seat.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with product managers on client-facing work — understand the problem, then design the solution
• Design flows, states, and UI through to an engineering-ready handoff
• Keep the client portal and online booking feeling like one experience
• Work with the design lead and engineers as part of a small product team

Responsibilities and Benefits

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a UX or product designer who has shipped UI to engineering (not research-only or visual-only)
• Comfort working with PMs — you can ask questions and reframe a brief, not only take tickets
• Junior to mid ICA portfolio that shows how you got to the solution, not only finished screens

Nice to Have

• Multi-surface or multi-app work for the same user
• Healthcare, veterinary, or other regulated / operational products
• Working with engineers who implement a component library
