System Analyst (Processing Issuer)

Processing issuer team:

The Processing Issuer teamoversees the ongoing management of an essential platform dedicated to issuing credit cards, executing transaction processing, and engaging with worldwide payment systems. 

We are looking for a skilled System Analyst who will join our strong and enthusiastic team!

 

Challenges that await you:

  • System Analysis & Optimization: Analyze, optimize, and maintain the card authorization and processing systems to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency and reliability

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to card authorization processes

  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and lead initiatives to implement these enhancements

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that all card authorization and processing activities comply with industry standards, security protocols, and data protection regulations

  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, and provide regular reports on system performance and improvements

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including IT, Security, and Customer Support, to ensure coherent and aligned operations

What makes you a great fit:

  • 3+ years of experience as System Analyst in IT within the card processing industry

  • Strong understanding of card processing technologies (ISO8583, EMV, 3DS), with a primary focus on Visa integrations and secondary experience with Mastercard

  • Demonstrated expertise in UML and BPMN methodologies

  • Proficiency in data analysis and SQL

  • Experience with database management, particularly Postgres

  • Familiarity with payment card security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS)

  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into clear specifications

  • B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team

Your bonus skills:

  • Experience in designing REST and gRPC models, as well as proficiency in crafting API architecture, data models, and business processes

  • Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka

  • Experience with Git

  • Practical experience with Go/Python services and gRPC integrations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree
