Senior Data Scientist

The team is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join us in Barcelona.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, independently solving complex data-related problems.
Design and develop end-to-end data science solutions, from initial analysis and model development to deployment, optimizing for performance and scalability. This includes creating models tailored to optimizing ad targeting, bid strategies, and campaign performance analysis.
Collaborate with both technical and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions and insights, particularly focusing on enhancing advertising effectiveness and ROI.
Maintain and optimize existing data processing pipelines and machine learning models, with a strong emphasis on applications within the ad-tech ecosystem, ensuring high efficiency and alignment with dynamic market trends.
Technology Stack:
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with manipulation frameworks such as PySpark and Pandas.
Familiarity with Dagster (or similar) as ETL tool and Druid (or similar) as OLAP database.
Skilled at using cloud services such as AWS etc.
Hands-on experience in DNN models training libraries and frameworks (pytorch, hydra, comet etc.)
Knowledge of Databricks will be a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in a product-focused environment.
3+ years of experience in AdTech.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
Proficiency in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
