Project Manager
As part of our continued business growth, the Project Manager will play a key role in leading and delivering a portfolio of strategic initiatives over the next year. We are seeking a professional with strong expertise in banking and Scrum methodologies, with the ability to manage complex projects and align cross-functional teams. This role is critical for ensuring consistent delivery, operational discipline, and measurable business impact across all project initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Lead Scrum teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure the successful implementation of Agile methodologies and practices within projects.
Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
A PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the banking industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Experience managing projects using Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
