Product Manager

BotConversa is a profitable, bootstrapped SaaS company helping businesses automate customer communication through WhatsApp. Today, tens of thousands of companies use our platform to automate sales, support, and customer engagement. We're now entering the next stage of growth. AI is changing how businesses communicate with customers, and we believe conversational AI will become the primary interface between companies and their clients. To make this happen, we're looking for our first dedicated Product Manager.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit mature processes, an existing roadmap, or a team of Product Managers. You'll build much of it yourself. If you enjoy creating product systems instead of simply maintaining them, you'll probably enjoy this role.

What success looks like

Within your first months, you'll:

• Build a clear product discovery process.
• Introduce meaningful product metrics and dashboards.
• Understand our customers better than anyone else.
• Turn customer problems into measurable experiments.
• Help founders make product decisions based on evidence instead of assumptions.
• Become the person everyone goes to when discussing product strategy.

What you'll do

You won't simply manage a backlog. You'll own product development from identifying opportunities to measuring business impact. Your responsibilities will include:

• Discover customer problems through interviews, analytics and direct communication.
• Generate product hypotheses based on business goals, customer needs and product data.
• Prioritize initiatives according to business impact rather than stakeholder requests.
• Build and maintain the product roadmap.
• Define product metrics (Activation, Retention, Feature Adoption, Churn, Time-to-Value and others).
• Design experiments, MVPs and validation plans.
• Launch new functionality and measure outcomes.
• Write PRDs, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes in Figma (or similar).
• Work daily with Engineering, Design, Support, Sales and founders.
• Analyze competitors, market trends and emerging AI opportunities.
• Continuously improve product discovery and delivery processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS or technology companies.
• Proven experience delivering measurable business impact.
• Strong Discovery skills (Customer Interviews, JTBD, Product Discovery, Hypothesis Validation).
• Experience running experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4 or similar analytics platforms.
• Basic SQL.
• Experience working with Agile teams.
• Ability to independently prioritize work and organize product processes.
• Experience creating mockups using Figma, Miro or similar.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

AI is a core part of this role

We're building AI-first products. We expect you not only to understand LLMs but to actively use AI every day. That means using ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or similar tools to accelerate:

• research;
• product discovery;
• writing;
• analysis;
• prototyping;
• ideation;
• documentation.

Experience building AI-powered products or integrating LLMs into production is a significant advantage.

• Conversational AI or chatbot products.
• Marketing automation platforms.

• Startup or bootstrapped SaaS experience.
• Portuguese.
