About the position

Our Growth Studio is looking for a talented  Motion Designer to join a passionate web & design team. In collaboration with the marketing, product, and branding teams, you will join the Growth Studio to contribute with other designers to design a best-in-class motion experience. We’re looking for a crafter of amazing visuals & motions to create exceptional design.

You are not only exceptionally talented at implementing design, motion design, and animation across a variety of media, you are also exceptionally talented at brainstorming and problem solving when it comes to visualizing complex technical concepts. You should possess a strong voice and the ability to recognize how social media can be leveraged to enhance and drive big campaign ideas across all social and digital platforms.

What you will do

• Define and shape Proton's motion vision across product, web and brand.

• Design and animate web experiences, micro-interactions, and product animations that improve the user experience.

• Produce high-quality motion and visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, YouTube, and the website.

• Help define Proton's motion design principles, guidelines, and reusable animation systems.

• Work independently on end-to-end projects while collaborating with multiple teams across the company.

• Create both motion and graphic design assets that strengthen Proton's visual identity.

• Build performant web animations using modern formats and technologies such as animated SVGs, Lottie, WebM, etc…

Job requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in graphic design/ motion design in an agency or in-house (please provide a link to your Portfolio).

• Ability to create motion, interaction, and/or animated visuals within a given brand/visual identity.

• Independent, self-motivated, and proactive. You don’t require constant input, and you have meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to articulate design decisions and convey complex ideas effectively.

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools. Figma and Adobe Suite are mandatory and Blender is a plus.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
